Summary: The year is 2015. An era of recovery from the global crisis (second impact) caused by melting snow and ice in Antarctica. "Angels" suddenly attacks the planned new city of New Tokyo, which is under construction in Hakone. Their identity and purpose are unknown, but they have challenged humanity with various forms and special abilities. The only means by which humanity can counter this mysterious enemy "Apostle" is the "general-purpose humanoid battle weapon Evangelion". Three boys and girls, including the main character, Shinji Ikari, were appointed as the pilots by a special agency “Nerv” directly under the United Nations. At the age of 14 Shinji Ikari is summoned by his father to the city of Neo Tokyo-3 after several years of separation. There he unwillingly accepts the task of becoming the pilot of a giant robot by the name EVA01 and protect the world from the enigmatic invaders known as “angels”. Even though he repeatedly questions why he has accepted this mission from his estranged and cold father, his doing so helps him to gradually accept himself. However, why exactly are the angels attacking and what are his father’s true intentions are yet to be unraveled. Now, the fire of humanity's fate is cut off and dropped. What is the true identity of "Angels"? What are the fate of the boys and of humanity?
