Summary: Following the story of the first Ghost in the Shell movie, Major Motoko Kusanagi gave up her body and became a ghost living on the Net. The other Batou is one of the best employees of Section 9, a special force dealing with problems between humans and machines. This time Batou tasked with investigating a series of mass murders. They are gynoids, robots designed to resemble women. Together with colleague Togusa (one of those not yet a cyborgs), Batou investigated the cause of the rebellious gynoid.
