Summary: Second season of the Gate anime. In a fictional setting in the year 20XX, a "Gate", into another world, opens in Tokyo's Ginza. Medieval knights and monsters from Gate pass through the gate, slaughtering the people of Ginza, turning the shopping mall into a bloody hell. The JSDF appeared, with modern weapons they repelled the enemy. Officer Youji Itami, after defending hundreds of civilians from the attack in Ginza, he is promoted to lieutenant and tasked with investigating the world beyond the gate.
