Summary: The movie is the final version of the final two episodes that controversial during the TV broadcast. It composed of the 25th episode "Air" and the 26th episode "Magokoro to Kimi ni", which is another ending that branches off from the 24th episode of the TV version. The last Angel Kaworu Nagisa was defeated, but Shinji Ikari closed his heart when he killed Kaworu with his own hands. Meanwhile, Zele promotes the "Instrumentality of Mankind Plan", broke up with Gendou, commander of NERV. Strategic Self-Defense Forces and mass-produced Evangelion are introduced one after another to control the NERV headquarters, and the headquarters becomes a fierce battlefield. The part corresponding to the 25th episode "Air" was already released in the "REBIRTH" edition in the movie version "Sito Shinsei" released in the spring of the same year, but some dubbing and screen corrections have been made.
