Summary: During a summer vacation, a group of 15 children discover a mysterious man living in a cave by the sea. The man claims to be a game developer creating a game with a giant robot protecting Earth from 15 alien invaders. He asked the kids to help him test the game for him. The kids all happily agreed, but then they started to discover just how horrifying the game was. Bokurano is an anime that revolves around 15 children who are forced to become representatives to protect the Earth from mysterious monsters. Each child will have a chance to control a giant robot 500 meters high. However, with its enormous size and energy source, far exceeding modern modern human technology, it will take the life of a rider every time the battle is over. This causes the children to ponder and rearrange their lives as if they waited until their final battle to sacrifice.
