Grave of the Fireflies 8.51
Other Name: Grave of the Fireflies, Tombstone for Fireflies, 火垂るの墓
Summary: Japan at war. Difficult country, bombs and ammunition, food shortage. According to the ghost Seita, we return to the time when Japan did not surrender, when the bombs were still shining in the sky. Seita and Setsuko, the two brothers living in the background at that time, soon suffered many losses. Seita alone had to bear all the responsibilities and care for her sister. Two brothers have to come live with the selfish aunt. She was always resentful and gnawed at the two children, thinking that they were useless, so the food was always kept for her husband and children - whom she supposedly was working to serve the country. She even sold all the souvenir kimonos worn by the two children's mothers. Finally Seita carries all sorts of trinkets, Setsuko on her back with a tattered umbrella and lives in an abandoned bomb shelter.
