Summary: The world in Berserk is inspired by Europe in the 13th – 15th centuries. In this world, there exist rival kingdoms in order to expand the realm. The two main kingdoms that play an important role in the main story are Midland and Kushan. Midland land protected by royalty and armored knights army. This is also the main country where events in Berserk take place. Kushan is a kingdom similar in style to ancient India, ruled by emperor Ganishka. This kingdom uses the power of demons and monsters to fight Midland.
