Summary: The story takes place in the last years of the 21st century when magic has become popular and played an important role in the lives of people in many countries, especially Japan. Because of that, many Magic schools have been built to train talents for the country. The main character of the series the Shiba brothers. They enroll in First High School of the National Magic University. The younger sister Shiba Miyuki is a student in Faculty 1, a gathering place for students with outstanding achievements. And the older brother Shiba Tatsuya was classified into Faculty 2, a gathering place for students who were considered inferior and disdain by Faculty 1. However, the entrance test did not properly assess Tatsuya's true abilities, making him a "different person at the magic school".
