Summary: It's March 25th- a day with a spring break. Koyomi Araragi is a sophomore high school student who attends private Naoetsu High School. He happens to meet Tsubasa Hagawa, the best honor student in the school. Tsubasa mentions a rumor about a "blond vampire" that recently appeared. Koyomi is usually anti-social, takes a liking to Tsubasa's down-to-earth personality. That night, Koyomi encounters a rumored vampire. Kissshot Acerora Orion Heart Underblade, "King of Wonders". The blonde and golden-eyed vampire cries out for Koyomi to save her as she lies in a pool of her own blood, all four of her limbs cut off. She asks Koyomi for help. Koyomi gives his blood with a kiss shot as it is requested. The next time he woke up, Koyomi finds himself re-born as her vampire kin. Kissshot tells the confusing Koyomi.
