Summary: The first anime TV series that became the origin of the "Gundam" series. Universal Century 0079. It has already been half a century since humankind has immigrated an overgrown population to space. Side 3, the space city farthest from the earth, has challenged the Revolutionary War to the Earth Federation Government under the name of the Principality of Zeon. After a month or so of battle, the Principality of Zeon and the federal army killed half of the total population, leaving the war in a stalemate with the federal army inferior. Side 7 boy Amuro Ray accidentally boarded the new federal mobile suit "Gundam" in the wake of a surprise attack by the Zeon army and became a pilot. In order to survive the war, he forced to fight as a soldier with boys and girls on the battleship White Base, and eventually he awakened as a "new type".
